About our redevelopment
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community, ensuring people can get the care they need close to home.

The redevelopment will deliver a new and expanded emergency department and intensive care unit, new theatres, new purpose-built ambulatory care centre, new paediatric short stay unit, more adult overnight inpatient beds and expanded medical imaging. It will make best use of the current services available at the Ryde campus, including the Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre and historic Denistone House.

The NSW Government is investing $526.8 million for the Ryde Hospital Redevelopment
