Site announced for Ryde Hospital development

The  existing Ryde Hospital campus has been chosen as the location for the Ryde Hospital Redevelopment, with the site to be transformed into a state-of-the-art health facility.

The NSW Government announced that building the hospital on the existing campus is the most suitable location and is the result of extensive consultation with the local community and staff.

The redevelopment will provide additional and enhanced emergency, critical care, medicine and surgery, community and ambulatory care (outpatient) services. It will also make best use of the current services available at the Ryde campus, including the Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre.

The Ryde Hospital development will deliver new and enhanced health facilities and services, while also respecting the site’s heritage, including preserving the historic Denistone House.
