National Volunteer Week
Thanks to Ryde Hospital Redevelopment’s volunteers
National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be held on 15 – 21 May 2023, with this year’s theme -
The Change Makers. Change Makers are people who take action to make the world a better place.
The week-long event recognises the vital support that the millions of volunteers in our country provide to their communities and encourages people to consider volunteering.
NSW Health considers its volunteers to be essential to the delivery of public health services across NSW.
This National Volunteers Week we celebrate the generous and dedicated volunteers that are involved in the Ryde Hospital Redevelopment, helping to support and deliver better outcomes for patients, staff and visitors. Our heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment engaged volunteers early in the project to provide advice and guidance on the design of the new building. Volunteers are involved in our Consumer Reference Groups, as well as various Project User Groups and Working Groups.
